Where it starts
Stephen Ondulich works with his hands. Aircraft, buildings and websites are different trades, but they ask for the same things: patience, precision, and the willingness to do the slow part properly.
It started young, doing electrical work in his father’s business. From there the work led through many different industries and trades: construction, high-voltage, automotive, maintenance, airports and steel fabrication shops. Some of it came through on-the-job training at many different places over the years. Much of it was self-taught.
Why more than one trade
Because good work carries over. The eye that catches a swirl in a paint finish also catches a trim board that is off by a hair, and a button on a website that sits two pixels out of line. The tools change. The standard does not.
Ondulich is where that lifetime of hands-on work comes together. The web, handyman and aircraft detailing work now sit under one name and are held to one standard. The goal is to build Ondulich into something bigger than one set of hands, growing with the right people alongside.
Close to home
Ondulich is based in Venango County, Pennsylvania, and serves Western Pennsylvania — from Erie to Pittsburgh.
Far and away the best prize that life offers is the chance to work hard at work worth doing.
